JANUARY 2002
- Costes releases a new video "Short films 3", 7 shorts films produced in 2001.
DECEMBER 2001
- The german label Tochnit Aleph releases Costes CD "Bible and machine gun".
NOVEMBER 2001
- The french supreme court canceled the judgment against Costes of december 2000.
Three songs from his cd "livrez les blanches aux bicots", sentenced as "racist", "call to violence" and "lowering brutality", were then banned from his web site.) BUT BUT BUT...
He will be judged one mre time in 2002 ! It will be the 5th courtcase against Costes since 1997 because of his art ! (Soon i will suicide, i swear !)
- The US label Menschenfiend releases Costes CD "Hung by the dick".

- Costes plays in Ovidie's second film for Marc Dorcel (visit Ovidie website)
DECEMBER 2000
- On december 20th, Costes is convicted by a french court. Three songs from his cd "livrez les blanches aux bicots", sentenced as "racist", "call to violence" and "lowering brutality", are banned from his web site. He is fined 50.000FF ($8000) - a five-year suspended sentence - plus has to pay right away 25.000FF ($4000) to three antiracist associations.
- The same day (!), Nik ta race, CD by Costes, a collaboration with rap band Criminology, raï singers Ghrib & Mejnoun and haitian singer Darlyne, is released on the label Rectangle .
NOVEMBER 2000
- On november 22th, Costes is judged for the fourth time in front of a french court, charged of racial insults and call to murder because of songs published on his website...
- Caca-yoga, a 24 pages photo-romance by Costes, printed in serigraphy, is released by Bon Gout.

- The new porno-social Opera "Vomito Negro" is performed in Holland and Belgium

- the french "Cour de cassation" (french supreme court) annuls Costes' claim against the judge decision in his december 1999 court-case. So he will be judged again in 2000 !

- Costes produces a psycho-documentary "600000 sous-hommes assassinés", for the tv channel "la locale", about birds killed by the oil slick on the french coast

- Costes plays one of the main characters in the german independant film "Jenseits der rosen" by Axel Meese. The film is sheduled to be out on screens in Germany and in festivals at the end of october 1999.
The film is produced by Meese Entertainment.

- The short film "Les nazis se la coulent douce en Amerique du Sud" is shot in South America.
FEBRUARY 1999
- February 8th : The French State public prosecutor and the french antiracist organizations licra, uejf, mrap and ldh decide to appeal against the judgment in the second court case. So Costes will be judged a third time the 17th of november 1999 !

- The 17th of december, Costes is judged again, in front of Paris criminal court, because of words of his songs published on his web site...The Public Prosecutor asks for "a six months in jail suspended sentence". The sentence will be given on january 28th 1999...

- Costes releases a new film "Les Otages (le film)", one hour of fake tv programs : news, ads, films, sitcom, porno...zap to Costes Channel!

- Costes shoots a new movie in Amazonia : "Morpho", with Marie-Anne.
JUNE 1998
- Costes new LP "Negre blanc" is released on the label "Rectangle".
- In Germany, the independant records label "Membrum Debile" is raided by the police and Costes 7" "Im Daddy's scheisswelt" is confiscated.
- The 25th of june was Costes' first audience in front of Paris Criminal Court, beginning of a new trial by the french state against his CD "livrez les blanches aux bicots", whose some songs' words are published on his website.
Four anti-racist associations (uejf, licra, mrap, ligue des droits de l'homme) joined the french state to attack Costes and ask censorship on his website.
The final audience in this trial will be december 17th 1998...
APRIL 1998
- Costes is working on his new show with Marie-Anne Lecomte. A film will be played on stage during the live performance. The tour will begin in Europa in october 1998.
MARCH 1998
- Costes releases four new cds in french : "L'avant-garde de l'hopital", "Drole de trip", "Un sparadrap sur l'anus", "Pas encore mort?"
FEBRUARY 1998
- the 13th of february, Costes is sued again for "racism and calls to violence and murder" because of songs published on his web site. He is charged exactly for the same reasons than in his 1997 trial against u.e.j.f., except that, this time, he is prosecuted by the french state and could be judged in front of a magistrates' court, incuring heavier penalties, including jail.
- Feeling that those non-stop prosecutions could lead to the end of his artistic activities, Costes shoots "Vie et martyre de Costes l'anachorete", a film being his human and artistic testament.
JANVIER 1998
- Costes records songs for new cds in french to be released at the spring 1998.
DECEMBER 1997
- Following new complaints from french antiracist association u.e.j.f. , Costes is going to be questioned again by the french police about his web site. So there is a possibility that Costes will be sued again in 1998...
